How does a lack of swimming sperm affect the ability to concieve?

My partner of 3 and a half years (we are both 18) has a problem which may affect his fertility. After getting a sperm test he was told that 60% of his sperm were not swimming, but has to make an appointment with a fertility clinic before we get anymore info. What does this mean, and how will it affect our ability to concieve in the future?

I understand what it means that the sperm don’t swim, I mean more what does this mean for conception?
